What Airbuild is, what you can build, and how the journey works.

Airbuild is an AI software development platform. Describe what you need in plain language — or bring what you already have — and the agent designs it, builds it, tests it, publishes it, and keeps developing it with you.

What comes out is real software: a React frontend, a Python backend of its own and its own PostgreSQL database. The source code is yours, exportable and self-hostable.

What can you build?

  • **Websites** — Landing pages, portfolios, marketing sites. React + Tailwind CSS. See Website.
  • **Web Apps** — Full-stack applications with backend, API and database. React + FastAPI + PostgreSQL. See Web App.
  • Business systems — Internal tools, customer portals, CRM and ERP scope: roles, approval workflows, pricing logic, interfaces into existing systems.

The whole path

The first version is the easy part. Airbuild covers what comes after it:

  • Specify — Describe what you need, or bring notes, a spreadsheet, a requirements document or existing code.
  • Plan — The data model, the pages and the API surface are proposed before a line is written. Correct them while that is still cheap.
  • Generate — Frontend, backend and database are built together, with foreign keys, constraints, Decimal money and UTC timestamps as the default.
  • Test — Test suites are generated alongside the code. Whether a failing suite also stops a release is a per-project switch, off by default.
  • **Release gate** — Every publish is checked against a frozen snapshot of exactly the code that goes live. High-severity findings block it. See Validation Before Release.
  • Go live — One click to *.airbuild.space or your own domain, with HTTPS and CDN.
  • Operate — Logs, health and usage in one place; hosting grows without touching the codebase.
  • Evolve — The next change takes the same path, and every change is a real Git commit.

In the workspace

  • AI Chat — Describe what you want in natural language. The agent writes the code.
  • Live Preview — See your project running while it is being built.
  • Design Mode — Click any element to select it, then ask the agent to change it.
  • **Prototypes** — Throwaway UI drafts to look at before anything is built. See Prototypes.
  • **Project Documentation** — A versioned docs/ folder the agent writes into. See Project Documentation.
  • AI Image Generation — Generate images directly in your project.
  • Model Picker — Choose the model per project: Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek or Mistral. All billed in the same AI Tasks.
