AI Coding Tool
The AI coding tool that produces code you can actually ship.
Airbuild generates production-grade software — a real React, FastAPI and PostgreSQL stack with tests included. Code you own, can export and self-host. Built in Vienna, EU data residency, GDPR-native.
The problem
The problem with prototype-first AI tools
Most AI coding tools optimize for one moment: the demo. They get a UI on screen in minutes — and that is genuinely impressive. But when your team tries to take that output to production, the gaps show up fast: no real backend architecture, no tests, no security review, a database you can’t reason about, and code that lives inside someone else’s walled garden.
The result is a prototype that demos well and then gets rewritten by hand. For a weekend experiment that’s fine. For a team that needs to ship and maintain real software, it means paying twice for the same product.
Production-first
What makes Airbuild different.
Airbuild is built production-first. Every generation step is designed around the question: can a team run this in production and still extend it a year from now?
A real, boring stack
React and TypeScript on the frontend, Python and FastAPI on the backend, PostgreSQL as the database. Standard, readable code your engineers already know — not a proprietary runtime.
Tests generated with the code
Airbuild generates tests alongside every build and fixes build errors automatically as it generates — self-healing instead of hand-debugging AI output.
A gate before you publish
Security and code-quality checks run on every publish by default — on for every project, switchable per project. High-severity findings block the release and come with one-click AI fixes.
Ownership
Code you own, and can self-host.
Everything Airbuild generates is standard, exportable code — not a locked format. If you leave, the code leaves with you, full history included.
Output types
What you can build
From marketing sites to full products: Airbuild is an AI tool to build apps end to end — frontend, backend, database, auth and hosting included.
Websites
Fast, SEO-ready marketing sites and landing pages with a real publishing pipeline and custom domains.
Full-stack web apps
SaaS products, internal tools and dashboards with authentication, business logic and a PostgreSQL database.
Python APIs
FastAPI services with documented APIs — standalone or as a microservice in your architecture. OpenAPI specs are regenerated on every release.
How it works
How it works
From a prompt to a running application — with verification built into every step.
Write a prompt — or start from a spec document, legacy code or screenshots.
Airbuild plans the architecture and generates frontend, backend, database and tests as one consistent system.
The security and quality gate runs on every publish unless you switch it off; errors are caught and fixed during generation.
Publish to a free subdomain or your own custom domain — or export the code and run it yourself.
Built for teams
Built for teams
Airbuild is made for organizations, not just solo builders. Engineering leaders get the controls they need to roll an AI coding assistant out to a whole team.
- Single sign-on with SSO/SAML and OIDC for your organization.
- Organization-wide rules and an allow-list of AI models your teams may use.
- EU AI Act transparency support: AI-generated output is clearly labeled.
- Project rules keep every AI change aligned with your conventions.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is an AI coding tool?
An AI coding tool generates working software from natural-language instructions. You describe what you want to build; the tool plans the architecture and writes the code. Tools differ widely in output quality: some produce quick prototypes for validating ideas, while production-grade tools like Airbuild generate a complete, tested stack — frontend, backend and database — that teams can deploy, own and maintain.
How is Airbuild different from AI prototyping tools?
Prototyping tools optimize for a fast demo — great for validating an idea, but the output typically lacks tests, security review and a maintainable architecture. Airbuild optimizes for shipping: it generates a standard React, FastAPI and PostgreSQL stack with tests included, fixes errors during generation, and runs a security and quality gate on every publish by default. The result is code a team can put into production and keep extending.
Do I own the code, and can I self-host it?
Yes — everything Airbuild generates is standard, exportable code, and you can run it on your own infrastructure, because there is no proprietary runtime. On Website Builder Pro and above, connect your own GitHub repository and AI changes are committed and pushed there automatically, so a copy with full history lives outside our infrastructure. That push runs in the background and a failure is only logged, so check the repository when the copy has to be current.
Is the generated code production-ready?
Yes — the code Airbuild generates is meant to go to production, not to a demo. Tests are written alongside it, build errors are repaired during generation, and a security and quality gate runs before every publish: static analysis, dependency and secret scanning, and code-quality rules, all on by default for every project. High-severity findings block the publish. What the gate cannot prove is that your authorisation rules are right, so plan a review for sensitive data.
Can my team use it in an enterprise setting?
Yes — Airbuild is built for team and enterprise use: single sign-on through SAML 2.0 or OIDC, organisation-wide rules, and an allow-list of the AI models your teams may use. AI-generated output is labelled in line with the EU AI Act's transparency requirements, and the platform is built in Vienna and hosted in the EU, with GDPR compliance at its core.
