Version 1.2 · Release · August 2026
Sketch first. Capture the web. Publish without guessing.
Airbuild 1.2 lets the AI sketch a prototype before it builds, takes over an existing website from its URL, and gives organisations per-member budgets and trials without a credit card.
Three weeks, one leap forward: the AI sketches prototypes before it builds. Existing websites come in from a URL. The publish dialog says what is missing — and takes you there. Every project has a Documentation tab. Organizations get per-member budgets and trials without a credit card. And the Free plan now starts with 250 AI Tasks.
New · Free plan
250 AI Tasks in your first month.
Fifty AI Tasks a month was enough to try Airbuild, but rarely enough to actually finish something. The Free plan now starts with 250 AI Tasks for 30 days — no daily limit inside the window, no credit card.
All plans and prices on our pricing page.

Two short takes from the workspace — the two ways to start a project in Version 1.2. No sound, on a loop.
Sketch first, then build
Three prototypes for a pricing page, one turned into a real page with “Build this” — the request goes through the chat, where you can still edit it.
From a URL into your project
An existing site captured through the Airbuild Browser: pages and assets land in the project, progress runs in the chat, and the site shows up in the preview.
The highlights
Six changes you will feel every single day.
Sketch it, then build it.
While you are still exploring an idea, nothing needs to be rebuilt for real. The assistant now sketches self-contained UI prototypes in the new Prototypes tab. Like one? “Build this” turns the sketch into a real change — the request lands in the chat so you can edit it before sending.
- A dedicated Prototypes tab: view, compare, discard.
- “Build this” hands the sketch to the chat as a request.
- No risk to your live project while you are only exploring.
Hand over a URL, get a project.
Rebuilding or migrating an existing site? Give the assistant the address — it captures the website through the Airbuild Browser integration, pages and assets land in your project, and a live progress card runs in the chat.
- Pages and assets land straight in your project.
- Live progress in the chat instead of waiting in the dark.
- An ideal starting point for a relaunch or a migration.
No grey button without a reason.
A first publish used to dead-end at a greyed-out button with no explanation. Now the main action reads “Finish setup”, above a list of exactly what is still needed, and one click opens the right settings with the required fields marked. Saving hands you straight back to the publish dialog.
- Every project has a deployment target from day one — inactive, no address, no cost.
- Name, hosting and SEO title are required: anything you can save is publishable.
- The real blocker is named — including “address already taken”.
Docs that stay with the code.
Every project now has a docs/ folder next to frontend/ and backend/ — and a Documentation tab that shows it. Markdown renders as a document, with a toggle to the source. Because the folder lives in the project’s own repository, every document is versioned with the code and travels with a clone, an export or a publish.
- The AI sees what is documented and writes into it itself.
- Source/Preview toggle, just like the project rules window.
- Older projects create the folder with a single click.
Budgets per member, trials without a card.
Platform Builder is on general sale — and testable: the trial request takes two steps, works logged out, and a granted trial provisions a ready-to-use organization with its own AI-task pool. No credit card, no subscription. On top of that: a monthly AI-task budget per member, so nobody accidentally drains the shared pool.
- A budget per member — usage counts against their own limit.
- Trial status where it matters: end date, seats, remaining AI tasks.
- Allowed models and org rules now hold everywhere, not just in the interface.
A chat that levels with you.
You can now attach any file type — documents, archives, data files — with a preview card and a matching icon. The model label names the model that actually answered. If your model cannot see images, the composer says so before you send. And when a turn fails, the message names the cause instead of “stopped unexpectedly”.
- Any file type in chat, with the same limits and safety checks.
- A heads-up when the selected model cannot read images.
- The chat keeps to your language — even on click-only answers.
And much more
Everything else in Version 1.2.
Dozens of improvements across the platform — from chat and workspace to publishing, organizations and billing.
AI & Chat
- Kimi K3 in the model picker — one more model for your projects
- The answering model is named — no guessed label — the real one
- A new chat rebuilds nothing — your project stays as it is
- Faster, lighter history — long conversations open promptly
Workspace
- Project rules on your phone — own menu entry, read-only for collaborators
- Environment values always hidden — an eye to reveal, Copy next to it
- Responsive during heavy file work — the workspace stays smooth
- Preview errors name the step — instead of always blaming dependencies
Publishing
- Review findings, fix with AI — select, fix, resume the held publish
- Control external scripts — analytics and embeds without giving up the strict defaults
- Hosting is used as chosen — paid hosting is recognised again
- A live site keeps its address — even if a later attempt is cancelled
Organizations & Teams
- Trial request in two steps — name, company, business email — the rest is optional
- Org rules reach the assistant — in every project of the organization
- Blocked models are hidden — and nobody can lock everyone out
- Straight into org settings — one click instead of hunting through menus
Plans & Billing
- 250 AI Tasks in your first month — on the Free plan, no credit card
- Top-ups usable on the Free plan — purchased tasks stay available
- Both free limits visible — what is left today and this month
- Plan cards say when a feature arrives — a date instead of a vague “soon”
Website & Pricing
- A refreshed public website — new home page, comparisons and guides
- Trial straight from the pricing page — request it, even logged out
- “Open Published” on your phone — now works on mobile too
