Every build produces real code — a React front end, and for web apps a Python backend with its own PostgreSQL database — along with generated tests, and it passes an automated security and quality review before it is published. The code belongs to the customer and is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). Airbuild is built and operated by Airbuild FlexCo.

Do I need to know how to code?
You do not need to know how to code to use Airbuild, and knowing how still helps. If you cannot code, describe what you want and the agent builds it; design mode lets you adjust the result visually. If you are a developer, you get a full editable codebase: edit files directly, run your own tests, and bring the code into your stack. It is real, exportable code.
Can I export my code?
Yes, you can export your code from Airbuild. It produces real React, FastAPI and Python code with no proprietary runtime and no lock-in. On Website Builder Pro and above you connect your own GitHub repository, and Airbuild pushes AI changes there in the background as ordinary commits — so your application code permanently lives outside Airbuild too.
Which databases are supported?
Airbuild supports PostgreSQL: every Web App project gets a managed PostgreSQL database, one per deployment target, created with the target and migrated by the agent. You can bring your own PostgreSQL connection instead. Existing systems on other databases are reached by the generated backend over their REST and legacy SOAP interfaces.
What are "AI Tasks"?
An AI Task is Airbuild's unit of billing: one completed generation, such as a new page, a bug fix or a refactor. Small edits do not count, and nothing is charged until something is finished. The monthly allowances are 25 AI Tasks on the free tier — 250 in the first month when you sign up with a business email — 200 on Web App Builder and 250 on Suite Builder.
Is there SSO and compliance?
Yes, Airbuild offers SSO and compliance. Per-organisation single sign-on via OIDC or SAML 2.0 comes with the Suite Builder plan and works with any standards-compliant identity provider, Entra ID, Okta and Google Workspace among them. Accounts are created on first SSO login, restricted to verified email domains. We host in the EU on AWS Frankfurt with a public Art. 28 DPA; ISO 27001 is under way, not certified.
Can I host Airbuild in my own cloud?
Airbuild itself cannot be hosted in your own cloud today. The platform runs on our EU infrastructure in Frankfurt (eu-central-1). A deployment into your cloud is in design and is scoped as a joint project with selected customers, not as a product you install. The finished application is a different matter: it is standard React and Python, so you can already run it wherever you want.
