Larger Systems

A business system — an internal tool, a customer portal, CRM or ERP scope with roles, approval workflows and pricing logic — is still a Web App project. What changes is the plan around it: Suite Builder adds dedicated hosting up to 2XL, SSO and SCIM, budgets, audit log and the security features a system like that needs. The project type itself stays the same, so nothing has to be rebuilt when you move up.

Starting From Something You Already Have

You do not have to start from a blank prompt. The start screen has a **Migrate** entry for bringing over a project from another builder, and you can attach a spreadsheet, a requirements document, a screen recording or a ZIP of existing code and have the agent work from that. See Migration.

Prototypes

Before committing to a build, a prototype gets you a clickable version to react to. See Prototypes.

Converting Between Types

You can convert a Website to a Web App (and back) in Project Settings:

  • Upgrade: Backend template is initialized automatically
  • Downgrade: Backend is archived (not deleted), can be restored later
